About

From the moment I could hold a pencil, I was a writer. As a kid, I filled notebooks, diaries, scrap paper, and Word docs with stories, ideas, and observations—sometimes profound, sometimes silly, but always mine.

Writing has never been just a skill or a job for me. It’s how I process the world, connect with others, and bring thoughts to life.

Now, I’m lucky to do what I love for a living. Crafting stories, shaping messages, and finding just the right words to make an impact is something I never take for granted. Writing is my passion—and I bring that same dedication and creativity to every project I take on.

Why Work With Me?

Let’s be real: fluff belongs in pillows, not in your content. You need messaging that grabs attention and holds it hostage.

I don’t just string syntaxes together and call it a day. I take the time to build narratives that make people feel—whether it’s tugging at their heartstrings, tickling their funny bone, fueling a severe case of FOMO, or developing a sense of trust, comfort, and belonging.

Is your brand voice already established? Fantastic! I appreciate the tip-off. I’ll follow the recipe, but I’ll tweak it just enough to serve a Michelin-starred meal.

My Philosophy

Every word matters. I love guiding brands to discover their authentic voice and ensuring people listen.

Planning is essential. Pretty words are nice, but profitable words are better. Every line I write is backed by strategy, psychology, and a dash of marketing magic to turn passersby into believers (and buyers).

Never stop learning. Don’t keep up with the Joneses. Out-Jones them. Stay curious about what audiences crave.

A Few Fun Facts

I’ve written and self-published three children’s books, which are dedicated to my nieces and nephews.

I’m Midwestern to the core. Hailing from Chicago’s southwest suburbs, I’ve proudly called Milwaukee home my entire adult life, including college. (Go Marquette!)

Putting ketchup on hot dogs is a crime. A hot dog is a sandwich.

David Bowie is my all-time favorite musician. He was also a marketing genius.

The theater is my happy place. My comfort films are The Apartment, Some Like It Hot, The Sound of Music, and Billy Madison, to name a few.

My name means “dark-haired” in Gaelic. Ironically, I’ve embarked on two blonde journeys.
